Lovely Stone Cottage near the River Blavet, sleeping 5-6

This is a beautifully renovated stone cottage, which is centrally heated; double glazed and is a well equipped family home with full facilities, only a kilometre from the well-known River Blavet. There are three bedrooms, one on the ground floor which would be ideal for those unable to use the stairs, which has a double bed and wardrobe. Bed linen is supplied but you will need your own towels.

Upstairs there are wooden floors and two further bedrooms one with a small double bed and wardrobe, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. There is a family bathroom downstairs and a shower room upstairs with toilet. Downstairs is tiled throughout and the open-plan lounge/dining room is light and comfortable, and has TV and satellite which will receive English programmes. 

The kitchen corner is modern and fitted with an electric oven, and gas and electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.  In addition there is a separate laundry room with washing machine. French windows open out on the to patio area.  Outside there is a garden to the front and side of the house, with wonderful views over the surrounding woodland.  There is a BBQ and table and chairs for those al-fresco meals. Generous electricity allowance for general use, but an extra charge will be made at cost for use of the central heating. 

This house is in a very small hamlet, very close to the River Blavet which is only a 1 km walk down a country lane from the towpath, which is excellent for walking and bike riding. The house is about a twenty minute drive from the nearest beach at Port Louis, but you have an array of beaches to choose from within 30-40 minutes. Languidic is the nearest town and has all you will need for everyday shopping; a large supermarket, banks, post office, bars, restaurants, and more traditional shops like the boulangerie and patisserie.
