Newly Renovated Cottage by the Beach

You can't get much closer to the sea without getting your feet wet with this beautifully renovated cottage.  It is literally 80 steps from the beach and you can even get a sea view from the mezzanine reading room.  It is near the village of Ste Helene- sur-mer, which is east of Lorient.

There is a garden at the front of the house and inside you will love how the careful and thoughtful renovation work has been done with loving attention by the owners.

The Mezzanine - quiet reading area

There is an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.  The lounge has a settee and two armchairs and a huge fireplace the chimney of which reaches high into the mezzanine. 

There is a TV for French reception only, but you could hook up your own DVD if required.  The dining area seats 6-8 and the new solid wood kitchen is a delight to behold with island worktop.  The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and electric oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster (washing machine in utility room).  The fireplace is working and can be lit in cooler months - there is also central heating for autumn and winter lets.

There is one double bedroom downstairs with a huge bathroom with corner bath and two sinks adjacent, and separate toilet. Bed linen is supplied, but the beds are not made up on your arrival. 

Upstairs you will find a further double bedroom and one room with three single beds, plus a shower room with toilet and sink. 

Outside there is a partially enclosed garden, with garden furniture, and BBQ and it is only a very short walk around the house in front to the little sandy beach.   Price includes all utilities except in off peak.

Please note that this house has no cleaning contract so you must leave it clean and also must accept it the way it is found!  HOWEVER, if you want an end of stay clean you must request this in advance of your visit so this can be arranged.
