A pretty one bedroom stone cottage with half an acre of gardens in a quiet rural setting in Central Brittany.  It is an ideal location for couples that enjoy walking and cycling, with the many walking routes locally and the Nantes – Brest Canal, which is very good for bird watching.

On the ground floor is open plan. The lounge area is equipped with satellite TV (BBC and ITV), a DVD and CD player and for extra guests, a double sofa bed. A wood burner is available for guests staying at cooler times of the year.

The modern fitted kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine and there is a dining area with seating for 4.

Upstairs there is a large bedroom with exposed beams and original wooden flooring with a very comfortable king size bed, and also a modern white bathroom with bath, toilet, and wash basin.

Outside there is garden furniture and a BBQ available for those lovely summer days and there are some oak trees for those who prefer some shade. There is also plenty of parking.

The local hamlet of Kerfourn is where you will find your closest boulangerie and the village of Noyal Pontivy has a supermarket and other shops for all your requirements.

The cottage is 7 miles from Pontivy with all the shops you would require and 3 miles from the pretty village of Rohan with the Nantes – Brest Canal that has a good towpath for walking and cycling. The medieval town of Josselin is also only about 12 miles away with it quaint houses, streets and very imposing chateau.

A welcome pack and linen and personal towels are provided.  No pets allowed.
