Under 3kms to the village of Ste Helene sur Mer, this detached Breton cottage is ideal for exploring the coastal villages in the area. A ten minute walk from sandy beaches on the picturesque River Etel, the accommodation consists of two bedrooms, twin and double, large living room, kitchen shower and wc. The rooms are all on one floor, so ideal for those with slight mobility problems. Outside is a lovely open lawned garden some in the shade of a large tree to offer some cool on very hot days.
The kitchen is well appointed with electric oven, fridge, microwave and there is a washing machine and tumble drier in the utility room.
The lounge has two, two seater leather settees and two further armchairs, TV and DVD player, and CD player. There is also a library of books in English. Dining area is also in this room and has table and five chairs.
There are two bedrooms, one double with French windows to the garden and one twin. Family shower room and separate WC.
Outside there is a large open garden in lawns and a large tree to take shade from the summer sun. The area is quiet and lovely places to walk. There is bike hire in the village, so you can explore the area in the open air. Towels and bed linen are included and a travel or and high chair are available if required. Amenities nearby include a kayak school and public slipway for launching small boats. The cottage has driveways front and rear with plenty of room for cars and a boat trailer. Ker Thomas is only a short drive or bike ride from the long sandy beaches at Plouhinec and Erdeven where conditions are ideas for sunbathing and watersports.
The village of Ste Helene sur Mer offers you a little supermarket with delivery of daily fresh breads (depot de pain) and a little bar. A short drive to Plouhinec or Erdeven opens up to more supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Click on map for more options Prices per week
