This lovely stone cottage shares facilities with three other cottages on this pretty complex near Rochfort-en-Terre.  The fabulous lounge dining room has a huge fireplace with wood burning stove, exposed beams and ancient stone walls.

The open plan corner kitchen is fully fitted and equipped including dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge and microwave. 

Upstairs there are two twin and one double bedrooms and the shower room has a multi-jet shower and toilet, also downstairs is a further shower room with washer/drier. 

Bed linen, books, CD player, game and welcome pack also included.  Cot, highchair and stair-gate available on request.  Bicycles available for use during your stay.  An added bonus is that the lady owner can offer a range of holistic therapies to you during your stay including Indian Head massage and reflexology.

Outside there is a patio area with table, chairs and BBQ,  then a few steps away is the swimming and spa pool. 

AREA

Rochefort en Terre is only one kilometre from the house so it can easily be reached by foot or by one of our available bikes.  It is a beautiful town dating back to 12th century.  It has its very own chateau, with restaurants, creperies, shops selling local porduce, potter, and medieval church and antique shops and is certainly a must see for all passing tourists.

 The local lake is only a ten minute walk away which has a small beach and you can hire pedaloes and there is supervised swimming in summer.  Around the lake you will find tennis, picnic areas, a BMX course and fishing.  There is also a restaurant and bar there.  15 minutes away you will find a nine hole golf course.  15 minutes away also is Questembert, which is famous for its covered 15th century market place.  There are also some fine restaurants here, one has a two rose rating from Michelin.  30 minutes away is Vannes, one beautiful medieval walled city and well worth a visit, especially on Mondays and Saturdays when the markets are there!
