Fabulous Stone Cottage in Baden Village

only five minute's walk to Baden Village - 6 bedrooms - sleeps 12 + 2 babies

This beautiful stone cottage is in an ideal position for exploring the Gulf of Morbihan and a short walk will have you to the village in the morning for your croissants and baguettes.

The living space is huge, with a choice of two bright rooms, one with a large stone working fireplace and the other a sun room both leading out on to the sunny patios.

Between the two living rooms there is a TV and DVD player, a music centre, a working piano, plenty of places for all your family to sit and relax.

The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher and combi microwave, and there is a separate utility room with large Belfast sink, large fridge freezer and in the garage there is a washing machine and drier also a further drinks fridge.

There are three bedrooms downstairs: one double, one single (with full pull out bed under which can push together to make a large double), and twin room (the beds can be put together to form a large double) plus at the side there is an study area and it also has an ensuite bath, with shower over.  There is also a family bathroom between the first two bedrooms, which has a shower, sink and WC.

Upstairs you will find another three bedrooms, one quin room with two sets of built-in bunk beds, and a single bed and off the quin room there is a playroom for the children with TV & Video player (and 50 videos - in French). The next bedroom has a single bed with pull- out under (suitable for children); then there is a double room with ensuite shower room, bidet and sink.   Cot available for small baby, and travel cot available for larger baby, and there is also a further spare single bed on the landing which can be used where necessary. There is also a family bathroom on this level with bath, shower over, bidet and sink.  Separate wc.

Quin Room and Ensuite double bedroom

The house is located in a quiet and peaceful area and the owner insists that occupants should be respectful of this. Outside there is a large gated garden (electric gates provide entrance to three well spaced houses), so completely secure for the little ones.  There is a table tennis table, tree swing, tree house and loads of garden (3000m2) to play in. Sun loungers, seating, tables, BBQ etc.   For golfers, less than 1km is the Golf de Baden 18 hole par 72 course (click for website). only 5 minutes (300 m) to Baden village which has a boulangerie, charcuterie, a couple of restaurants, hairdressers, bank etc.  Beaches 4 kms and 1.5 km to the Auray estuary. Champion supermarket 800 mtrs.  13kms to Vannes City; 9kms to Auray town.

In summary; the house is limited to 12 people plus 2 babies.  Kitchen linen is included, but you will either need to bring your own bed linen (quilts & pillows provided) and towels.  If you wish to hire these, it is possible, through the caretaker, please ask for details.   10% discount if booking two consecutive weeks.  The owner of this house speaks several languages including fluent English and he likes to have a quick phone call with clients before handing back to me for the admin.
