Charming 17th century Lord's Manor House near Languidic sleeping 8-10

This beautiful manoir has been restored to its former glory. Set in beautiful gardens, it also has an ancient chapel in the grounds, which is a sound building with original stonework.  Quite amazing and set in its own hamlet behind heavy oak gates, it is a secure place for young children to roam, surrounded by open farmland and fields of cereal. 

Down stairs there is an open plan kitchen, fully fitted with microwave, range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and drier.  The dining table is within the open plan area.  Slightly separated is the lovely lounge area with comfortable seating and a marvellous working stone fireplace.  The lounge has a TV and DVD player.

Also on the ground floor is a further room which has a shower room and wc and also has a bed settee so providing more sleeping space.  Part of the upstairs can be accessed via the ancient stone stairs just outside the main door, where you will find a further two huge double ensuite bedrooms (both with extra single beds), both with windows front and rear one with shower room and the other a large family bathroom with shower over the bath.  The stairs rising from the lounge take you to a further two bedrooms.  Further details of the bedrooms will follow when they have been newly furnished.

Price is all inclusive in the summer season.  A charge for central heating will be made out of season.  Sheets included and for those flying in, personal towels can be hired. Well behaved pets welcomed.

AREA

Languidic is the nearest town four kilometres from the manoir and has a large Intermarché supermarket with butcher and fishmonger departments.  Also in the town you will find four restaurants, several bars, banks, two boulangerie, a butcher/charcuterie, the post office, several banks and a small grocery store and tabac presse.  There are several other shops as well including a florist, clothes boutique, several hairdressers and pharmacy.
