Large Traditional Hamlet House near Quimperlé

This large house sits in a small hamlet in the southern Brittany countryside about 20 minutes from Le Pouldu beaches.  It is less than 15 minute's drive to Quimperlé which is a very large town with full compliment of shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc. It has a huge garden leading on to a mowed meadow so no shortage of space for the children to amuse themselves.

The kitchen is well equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.

The lounge has two very comfy settees, English satellite, DVD and video and music centre. Also available is a video and book library and all important on your holiday - board games.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one double, one twin and one bunk with a single bed in the room. All have wardrobes and bedside cabinets.  The family shower room has a shower, toilet and sink and there is a second toilet downstairs.  The house also has central heating for cooler periods. There is a washing machine in the laundry room.  Cot, stairgate and highchair available.

Outside there is ample parking behind the double gates.  A patio area with BBQ awaits those plein-air evening meals to eat sitting around the wooden garden furniture. Also provided is a parasol and sun loungers.  The private garden leads on to the well mown field of around 3000m2 and both are enclosed by a fence.  Football, badminton set and body surfing board available.

In the local area there are plenty of things to keep you amused: walks along the River Laita, relax on the sany beaches, horse riding, kayaking, fishing, golf or visits to the art centre in Pont Aven with it's many private galleries, or walk around the historic town of Cancarneau with its famous citadel or shopping in the narrow streets of Quimper, or the marvellous zoo at Pont Scorff - all a short drive from the house.
