Set in a hundred acres, this bright farm cottage should have been called after Pooh Bear, it even has three streams triangulating the property to play Pooh Sticks!  Only 4 kms from the market town of Plouray which has its own lake with a beach (plan d'eau), and a further swim-able lake at Priziac only 10 kms from the cottage.

A lovely English family run a sheep farm from here (not adjacent to the house), along with hens, two pigs and a couple of milk cows, they are almost self-sufficient, with that and the fresh vegetable available straight from the ground, what more could you want?  You can even have bed breakfast and evening meal, with notice. At certain times of the year you will be privy to the lambing, calving and is it "pigging" for piglets?  Really?

Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen, lounge dining room with seating for eight.  The kitchen is bright and modern with gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle.  There is a twin room downstairs and toilet (with washing machine).  The lounge area has TV and DVD player, a three seater settee and an armchair.

Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one twin and one double.

Outside you will find 100 acres to explore, ramble and even look at the remains of a bronze age burial chamber - just a pile of stones in a field, but they aren't allowed to knock it down!   There are forest walks and hidden paths to explore, so put on your walking boots and get going.
