Moulin Ponto, Le Sourn near Pontivy private fishing lake, private HOT TUB and shared pool Sleeps 5 (Saturday change)
Exterior of the Mill House Ponto - "Moulin Ponto" The main cottage "Moulin Ponto" offers you two bedrooms one with a king sized bed the other with a double and a single, and both have ensuite with toilet, basins and showers. It has a well equipped modern kitchen with full gas cooker, microwave, fridge etc. The open-plan lounge-diner has fantastic views and a private terrace with a view you can't imagine and a private garden and hot tub for your sole use. Also has Sky TV for those of you who just cannot do without.

The two other cottages, La Perche (click to view page) and Le Grenier (details below) are one bedroomed with single beds that zip together to make a large king sized bed. They both have fully equipped kitchens and comfortable lounges.
There is a shared laundry room with washing machine.
Meet "Goosey" & Ben (yes his friend is Bill) They are set in magnificent landscaped grounds stretching for over seven acres. It has it's own private spring-fed lake the size of a football pitch, so if you so desire you can fish for tench, roach, rudd, bream, perch, CARP (around 12 lb) and trout! The house from the far side of the lake The gardens are spectacular and boasts a mill with a wheel and a feeder canal spring fed, which cascades down the waterfall into the lake below, which is home to ducks and geese and two very proud peacocks who are not shy to show their full plumage! There are many walk tracks near the house, unless you just fancy a stroll around the ample grounds and pathways by the two lakes.
New for 2008 is a 9 x 4.5 metre heated, above ground pool, open June, July & August.
click to enlarge any blue framed photo The town of Le Sourn is only a kilometre, which means a 15 minute walk to the boulangerie, boucherie, tabac, pharmacy and supermarket. If golf is your pleasure there is a nine-hole course only five minutes drive from the house. 45 minutes to the south-coast beaches. Only 3kms to the 18 hole Golf de Rimaison. See other house on this mini-complex The house is centrally heated, so is available all year round. This part of Brittany is wonderful, offering you large towns, lakes, forests and diverse countryside to explore. The English owners will offer a warm welcome. TESTIMONIAL: We had a super week at the Moulin Ponto. The owners T&B were lovely; helpful & available but very discreet seeing they live next-door. We loved the cottage, fabulous accommodation, super location and the fishing was great too !! We found it a good base to see and explore the area and we did lots; cycled down the Nantes / Brest canal, visited Carnac, Quiberon, La Baule, Guerande, Pontivy, Rocmontour (stunning) and ate some great food/drank lots.
